Benefits:

– Stipend of $500 per semester divided equally and paid over the five (5) months of the semester until the awardee graduates

Qualifications:
1. Must be Filipino citizens and regular students of the University
2. Currently enrolled in the Institute of Chemistry as first-year students in the Bachelor of Science in Chemistry program in the College of Science
3. Parents / Guardian’s combined annual gross income is not more than Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (PHP 500,000)
4. Must have obtained an average grade of “3.0” or better for the minimum academic load of their academic unit
5. Must have no grade of “5.0”
6. Must have any grade of “4.0” or “Incomplete” removed or completed, respectively, on or before the last day of registration in the following semester
7. Must not have committed any act of misconduct with a corresponding corrective measure of more than one (1) week suspension

Terms of the Scholarship:
– The grantees shall finish all the requirements of his/her study program within the duration prescribed by the College
– Must not shift to another course or go on leave of absence without prior approval from the Institute of Chemistry and UPAAA
– The grantees consents to receive communications from UPAAA and shall submit a photograph and application letter to UPAAA

6. Letter of Intent addressed to College of Science Dean, Dr. Giovanni A. Tapang
