The Search Committee for the Director of NISMED shall receive nominations from 8:00 am of 06 May 2021 to 5:00 pm of 14 May 2021. Please submit the following documents through email to dean@science.upd.edu.ph.

• 1. Nominator(s)’s signed nomination letter containing the justification for the nomination (please include current contact details of the [first] nominator);

  2. Nominee’s summarized curriculum vitae (at most three [3] pages);

  3. Nominee’s signed letter of acceptance of the nomination, stating willingness to serve as Director; and

  4. Nominee’s plans for the Institute in broad terms, including his/her flagship programs.

You may also submit hard copies to the College of Science Administration Building and have them received by the guard. All letters/nominations shall be addressed and delivered to:

Who May Nominate: NISMED staff, UP alumni, and other interested stakeholders.

Who May be Nominated: The nominee must possess the following minimum qualifications:

• 1. Commitment to academic freedom and the values and ideals of the University;

  2. Outstanding academic credentials in science, mathematics, or science/mathematics education

  3. Permanent appointment as UP faculty or staff

  4. Relevant administrative experience

The nominee/s must be ready to present to the NISMED community on 17 May 2021 during the public forum for the end-of-term report of the current NISMED Director Dr. Aida Yap.
